(WNY News Now) – Olean – Ryan S. Bartlett, a registered level 2 sex offender, faces arrest for failing to update his address and annual verification.
On August 12, 2024, at approximately 3:00 p.m., the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Ryan S. Bartlett, 42, of 1542 Rt. Olean-Portville Rd., Olean, NY. Bartlett is charged with two counts of Failure to Register with the New York State Sex Offender’s Registry.
The arrest followed a thorough investigation by the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Bureau. Authorities allege that Bartlett, a registered level 2 sex offender, neglected to update his address after relocating. Additionally, he failed to submit his annual address verification form as required.
Bartlett was taken into custody and held without bail. He is scheduled to appear in Olean Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
