(WNY News Now) – Rochester – A Rochester man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for orchestrating a series of violent home invasions targeting drug dealers, leaving victims injured and homes robbed.

Raekwon Green, also known as “Bundy” or “Bundles,” was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison for his role in a home invasion conspiracy that terrorized Rochester and Greece, New York, in early 2020. Green, 28, was convicted of Hobbs Act Conspiracy and Attempted Hobbs Act Robbery.

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced the sentencing, detailing how Green, along with accomplice Robert Forbes, Jr., and others, carried out four home invasions between February and April 2020. The group targeted homes they believed to contain drugs and cash, often resorting to violence. During the invasions, some victims were pistol-whipped, restrained, and left with injuries as the intruders stole controlled substances and U.S. currency.

Robert Forbes, Jr., a co-conspirator in the robberies, had already been sentenced to 19 years in prison.

The investigation was a coordinated effort involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, and the Rochester Police Department.
