(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – On August 28, 2024, at 8:00 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon initiated a traffic stop near Colfax and Morton Streets for an observed traffic infraction. The driver, identified as Tracy L. Griffin, 42, of Jamestown, was taken into custody after officers discovered an outstanding warrant from the Jamestown City Court.
During a search conducted incident to her arrest, officers found a quantity of methamphetamine in Griffin’s possession. In addition to her warrant, Griffin was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree. She was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
