(WNY News Now) – Allegany, N.Y. – Flu season is approaching—stay prepared by getting vaccinated. Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH) has released a schedule of upcoming flu shot clinics across the county.
As flu season looms, the Allegany County Department of Health (ACDOH) is offering flu shot clinics at various locations this fall to ensure residents are protected. The clinics will run from mid-September through late November at multiple venues across the county, including the County Office Building Clinic in Belmont, Houghton Fire Hall, Andover Fire Hall, and Cuba Memorial Hospital.

- Mon., Sept. 16, 2024: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, County Office Building Clinic, Belmont, NY
- Tues., Sept. 17, 2024: 1:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Houghton Fire Hall, Houghton, NY
- Mon., Sept. 23, 2024: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, County Office Building Clinic, Belmont, NY; 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Andover Fire Hall, Andover, NY
- Tues., Oct. 8, 2024: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM, AA Arnold Community Center, Cuba, NY; 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Cuba Memorial Hospital, Cuba, NY
- Tues., Oct. 22, 2024: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, County Office Building Clinic, Belmont, NY

To register for an appointment, visit ACDOH website or call 585-268-9250 (option 3). If you’re unable to attend a clinic, local pharmacies may offer flu vaccines.
What to Bring:
- Photo ID
- Insurance card (verify that ACDOH is in-network)
- Short sleeves for easy access
Cost:
- High-dose flu vaccine (ages 65+): $112
- Regular flu vaccine: $51
Payment may be required if insurance does not cover the vaccine.
