(WNY News Now) – Little Valley – A 43-year-old Salamanca resident was taken into custody on criminal contempt charges after being stopped for a traffic violation in the Town of Little Valley.
On September 10, 2024, at 7:18 AM, Douglas A. Farnham, 43, of Salamanca, was arrested for Criminal Contempt following a traffic stop on Route 353 in the Town of Little Valley. The arrest occurred after deputies pulled over Farnham’s vehicle for a routine traffic violation. Upon further investigation, deputies discovered that Farnham was in breach of a standing order of protection.
Farnham faces charges of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree (PL 215.50(6)). He is scheduled to appear before the Town of Little Valley Court for his arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
