(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – In the early hours of September 22, 2024, Jamestown Police responded to a disturbance at a residence on the city’s south side. Officers were dispatched around 1:47 AM following reports of a fight.

Upon investigating the situation, officers determined that 26-year-old Jamestown resident, Abigail C. Quinones, was involved in the incident. During their inquiry, it was revealed that Quinones was in contact with a person who has an active stay-away order of protection against her.

As a result, Quinones was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree for violating the court order. She was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is currently being held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
