(WNY News Now) – Authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating an 18-year-old girl who went missing after leaving work in Lockport.

Lockport, N.Y. – The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office has issued a request for help in locating 18-year-old Leah Z. Ervin, born 5/28/2006, who has been missing since she left her job at Jersey Mike’s on South Transit Road in Lockport, New York. Leah, a Black female with black hair, was last seen wearing her work uniform, a Jersey Mike’s polo shirt, when she left on foot from the sub shop.

Leah was expected to return to her residence on Old Niagara Road in Lockport but has not been seen since leaving work. Authorities have launched an investigation into her whereabouts and are urging anyone with information to step forward.

The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau is leading the search. Investigator Timothy A. Caughel is the point of contact for anyone who may have seen Leah or who has details regarding her possible location. Concerned community members are encouraged to call 716-438-3393 (available 24 hours) or 716-438-3328 during regular business hours.
