(WNY News Now) – Help make a difference in the lives of veterans and their families by attending a special fundraiser hosted by the Associates of the Vietnam Veterans Association (AVVA) Chapter 77.

North Tonawanda, N.Y. – The Associates of the Vietnam Veterans Association (AVVA) Chapter 77 are inviting the community to join them for a day of generosity and creativity at their Basket Raffle and Craft Show on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gratwick Fire House, located at 110 Ward Road in North Tonawanda, New York.

This fundraiser is aimed at supporting veteran patients in nursing homes connected to the Batavia and Buffalo VA, as well as providing assistance to the children of veterans during the holiday season. Attendees can expect a variety of handcrafted items, local vendors, and exciting raffle prizes, all while supporting a worthy cause.

AVVA Chapter 77 is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their families. The proceeds from this event will also benefit the Paul Rudnicki Food Pantry, located at 23 Main Street in Tonawanda. The pantry serves over 1,000 veterans and military families each year, providing essential support to those in need.
