(WNY News Now) – Police Seek Public Assistance in Locating 47-Year-Old Timothy Sawczyn
Buffalo, NY – A New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert has been issued following the disappearance of Timothy Sawczyn, a 47-year-old man from Buffalo. The alert was activated at the request of the Buffalo City Police Department on December 20, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Sawczyn is described as a white male wearing a gray hat, a dark gray coat, and dark-colored pants. He is believed to be traveling on foot. Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen him or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.
The New York State Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert is issued for individuals who are deemed to have special needs or vulnerabilities, making their safe return a priority. Officials have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding Sawczyn’s disappearance, but his safety is a significant concern.
