(WNY News Now) – Olean, NY — A routine civil matter led to the arrest of a local man after authorities discovered he was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

On January 3, 2025, at approximately 3:29 p.m., deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Spruce Street address in Olean. During the interaction, Allen C. Miller, 43, was identified and found to have an active warrant issued by the City of Olean Police Department.

Miller was taken into custody without incident and subsequently transferred to the City of Olean Police Department for processing. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
