(WNY News Now) – A Conewango woman was taken into custody after deputies discovered an active arrest warrant during an unrelated encounter.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Jessica R. Booth, 26, of Conewango, NY, on January 18, 2025. Deputies encountered Booth at approximately 9:35 AM during an unrelated incident.

During their interaction, deputies conducted a routine investigation that revealed Booth had an active arrest warrant issued by the City of Salamanca Court.

Following her arrest, Booth was transported to the City of Salamanca Police Department for further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
