(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. — A Cattaraugus County man was taken into custody Friday afternoon after deputies executed a bench warrant in the Town of Ellicottville.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Jordan R. Harrison, 25, was arrested at approximately 1:26 p.m. on January 31 on Pine Tree Road. Deputies discovered that Harrison had an active bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court.
Following the arrest, Harrison was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Jail, where he was held pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
