(WNY News Now) – LITTLE VALLEY, NY – A Cheektowaga woman was taken into custody on February 3, 2025, following her apprehension by local authorities on an active arrest warrant.

Charlanna A. Cotton, 35, was arrested by the Cheektowaga Police Department and later transferred to the custody of Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Deputies. The warrant was issued by both the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and the Ellicottville Police Department on charges of Attempted Criminal Mischief and Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree.

Cotton was arraigned in Ellicottville Town Court, where she was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in Great Valley Town Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
