(WNY News Now) – Crystal M. Vogt and Ulus C. Battle III face multiple charges following a narcotics investigation and search at a Jamestown residence.
JAMESTOWN, NY — Two individuals were arrested on March 6, 2025, after a narcotics investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at 1254 Newland Avenue in Jamestown.
At approximately 9:25 AM, members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, alongside Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office narcotics investigators, carried out the warrant at the residence. Inside, they found Crystal M. Vogt, 38, and Ulus C. Battle III, also 38, along with three other individuals.
Following the securement of the property, detectives conducted a thorough search, uncovering a quantity of cocaine, digital scales, cutting agents, and packaging materials commonly used for drug distribution. Additionally, investigators seized a sum of U.S. currency from the premises.
Vogt was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and three counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree. Battle was arrested for Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree after violating an order of protection with Vogt.
Both individuals were held pending their arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Jamestown Police Department and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, with support from their respective tip lines.
