(WNY News Now) – Town of Ellicott police have arrested a woman for allegedly violating an order of protection at a local business.
ELLICOTT, N.Y. – A Jamestown woman is facing charges after allegedly trespassing at a business in violation of a court order, according to the Town of Ellicott Police Department.
On April 1, 2025, officers responded to a complaint of trespassing at a local business in Ellicott. Upon arrival, police identified the suspect as 31-year-old Jessica L. McAdoo. Authorities allege McAdoo entered the premises despite an active stay-away order of protection that barred her from being near an individual working at the business.
As a result of the incident, McAdoo was charged with Trespass and Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. She was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
McAdoo is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer to the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
