(WNY News Now) – A 24-year-old Salamanca resident was taken into custody this week on an outstanding felony bench warrant.
On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at approximately 6:16 p.m., law enforcement officers arrested Samantha L. Schwab, 24, of Salamanca, NY. The arrest took place at a residence within the City of Salamanca after patrol officers located Schwab.
According to authorities, Schwab was wanted on an active felony bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Criminal Court. Details regarding the underlying charges related to the warrant were not immediately released.
Following her arrest, Schwab was transported directly to the Cattaraugus County Jail. She is currently being held there pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
