Update: A community member has reported that the closure was in response to a camper fire in Celoron.

(WNY News Now) – The Ellicott Police Department, the Lakewood Fire Department, and Chautauqua County EMS are currently on the scene and are diverting traffic on Fairmount Ave.

Ellicott, N.Y. – For currently unknown reasons, the Ellicott Police Department, the Lakewood Fire Department, and Chautauqua County EMS have blocked off a section of Fairmount Ave. in Ellicott.

Eastbound traffic is being diverted to Jackson Ave., while Westbound traffic is being diverted to Allegheny Ave. The reason for this diversion is currently unknown, and updates will be provided as they become available.
