(WNY News Now) – A 63-year-old Franklinville woman was arrested on April 20, 2025, after a roadside investigation revealed she was driving while impaired by drugs.
On April 20, 2025, at approximately 8:31 a.m., Rebecca A. Mego, 63, of Franklinville, NY, was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs (DWAI-Drugs). The arrest followed a short investigation conducted by authorities roadside.
Mego was subsequently taken to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Afterward, she was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Machias Town Court at a later date for further legal proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
