(WNY News Now) – A 30-year-old East Aurora man was taken into custody without incident by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant issued by the Arcade Police Department.
On Wednesday, April 10, 2025, at approximately 8:10 p.m., Devon M. Janiga, 30, of East Aurora was arrested by deputies after coming into contact with law enforcement.
Authorities confirmed that Janiga was wanted on an active arrest warrant issued by the Arcade Police Department. Following the encounter, he was taken into custody without resistance.
Deputies subsequently turned Janiga over to officers from the Arcade Police Department for further processing. No injuries or disturbances were reported during the arrest.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
