(WNY News Now) – Austin J. Harkins, 24, of Little Valley, was arrested on April 22, 2025, after deputies discovered an active bench warrant during a separate investigation.
On April 22, 2025, at approximately 9:14 AM, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Austin J. Harkins, 24, of Little Valley, during an unrelated incident in the Village of Little Valley. While investigating the separate matter, deputies uncovered that Harkins had an active bench warrant issued by the New York State Police (NYSP) Fredonia barracks.
After confirming the warrant, deputies took Harkins into custody and transferred him to the NYSP for further court proceedings. Authorities did not release additional details about the unrelated incident that led to his arrest.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
