(WNY News Now) – A 41-year-old Jamestown woman faces multiple charges following a shoplifting complaint in the Town of Dunkirk.

On Monday, May 26, 2025, at approximately 5:40 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of shoplifting at a business in the Town of Dunkirk.

Following an investigation at the scene, deputies arrested Monica R. Pacheco, 41, of Jamestown, New York. Pacheco was charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree, and Petit Larceny.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Pacheco was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Dunkirk Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
