(WNY News Now) – On June 15, 2025, Anna M. Raynor, 57, of Jamestown, was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant and drug possession charges following a street check on the city’s Southside.

Jamestown police arrested Anna M. Raynor on Sunday evening after officers spotted her walking near a Southside residence. Officers were aware of an outstanding arrest warrant for Raynor issued by Jamestown City Court.

During the encounter at approximately 6:17 PM, Raynor was detained without incident. A subsequent search revealed she was carrying a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Raynor faces charges including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, alongside the outstanding warrant. She remains held at the City Jail awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
