(WNY News Now) – On June 21, 2025, deputies in Frewsburg, NY, stopped a high-speed chase involving Al Hussein Albaneh of Dearborn, Michigan, who was charged following a vehicle crash and multiple traffic violations.

Frewsburg, NY — At approximately 9:00 a.m. on June 21, deputies observed a vehicle committing multiple traffic violations on Route 60 in the Town of Kiantone. When deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the driver failed to comply with emergency signals, prompting a pursuit.

The vehicle sped south into the Town of Carroll, where the chase concluded after the driver pulled into a residential yard and collided with a parked car. The driver, identified as 20-year-old Al Hussein Albaneh of Dearborn, Michigan, was promptly taken into custody.

Albaneh faces charges including third-degree criminal mischief, unlawful fleeing of a police officer, reckless driving, speeding in a designated zone, and improper passing on the left. He received appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer to the charges in courts for both the Town of Carroll and the Town of Kiantone. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
