Deputies arrest 32-year-old Brittany A. Danks on multiple charges after reported disturbance in Cherry Creek.

(WNY News Now) – CHERRY CREEK, N.Y. – A Cherry Creek woman was arrested on the morning of June 29 following an altercation and subsequent traffic stop, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a reported disturbance at a residence in the Town of Cherry Creek around 10:52 a.m. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the alleged suspect had already left the scene in a vehicle.

Deputies later located and stopped the vehicle, identifying the driver as 32-year-old Brittany A. Danks of Cherry Creek. Following an investigation, Danks was taken into custody and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs (DWAI), aggravated harassment in the second degree, and obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.

She was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment through the Centralized Arraignment Program. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
