(WNY News Now) – A 46-year-old Olean man was taken into custody early Saturday morning on an active bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court.

OLEAN, N.Y. — On June 29, 2025, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Justin Spencer, 46, of Olean, was arrested on North 7th Street by the City of Olean Police Department on an outstanding bench warrant.

According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Spencer was wanted by Cattaraugus County Court. Following his arrest, he was turned over to sheriff’s deputies and transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is currently being held.

Spencer will remain in custody until a scheduled court appearance before the Cattaraugus County Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
