No Charges Filed in Willard Street Collision That Claimed Life of Daniel Galarza Ramos
(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The Jamestown Police Department has concluded their investigation into the tragic motor vehicle accident that resulted in the death of 11-year-old Daniel Galarza Ramos, determining that no charges will be filed.
The incident occurred on June 17, 2025, at approximately 3:00 p.m., at the intersection of Willard Street and Kinney Street. Daniel Galarza Ramos was struck by a vehicle and later succumbed to his injuries on June 18, 2025, at Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo.
Following a comprehensive investigation led by the Jamestown Police Department, with support from the Chautauqua County Accident Reconstruction Team, officials determined that the driver involved in the incident was not at fault. No criminal charges will be filed.
The case has been officially closed.
