So true.and she’s down on her luck, her car was broke down, she couldn’t reach anyone to help her and had no idea she was doing anything wrong sleeping in an empty parking lot of a business she frequents daily As well she had no idea why they arrested her she woke to officers questioning her and was disoriented frightened and didn’t understand.why they were arresting her.she wasn’t told and was so upset she didn’t ask.a sad situation that has brought more suffering on a lady who is not a danger or a bother to anyone.Sad.

I myself like to put myself in the others shoes before I comment on something, but this here is utterly disgusting.Where in a situation that consist of a 67 year old woman sleeping in her car in a empty parking lot at 7:02 am come to where an officer or officers make the decision that it is ethical to harass, and search this elderly woman? After looking into this I found out what they are not including is they cuffed her, asked her to work for them and snitch on others, and impounded her vehicle while lieing and telling her that the dollar general wanted her vehicle towed. Also this is not the only time that Chautauqua county has done this to this 67 year old woman that does no harm to a soul! My opinion the officers involved in this incident should be terminated.I myself think that if anything the officers should have been worried about her well being and helped her get along her way.Wheres the mayor in a situation like this, the or no community needs officers that are placed to server the community on our county sheriff’s department squad.the community needs to stop these monsters for it’s obvious that the ones that have the authority to change it,either don’t care,or see it to be just as fun as there colleagues do! Folks if it’s a seatbelt ticket, take all and every ticket or charge to trial! Also after every incident you are involved in be sure to make any complaints that are necessary! These officers take an oath to be a better citizen! Smfh
