(WNY News Now) – Joshua J. Ball, 27, was taken into custody on July 27 after a burglary report in Little Valley and charged with conspiracy in the fifth degree.

On July 27, 2025, at approximately 8:09 PM, Joshua J. Ball, 27, of Little Valley, NY, was arrested by Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s patrol officers. The arrest followed a report of a burglary in progress in the Village of Little Valley.

Shortly after the incident was reported, Ball was stopped and apprehended during a traffic stop in the Town of Mansfield. He was charged with conspiracy in the fifth degree related to the burglary investigation.

Ball was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. Afterward, he was released with an appearance ticket, requiring him to appear in court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
