Deputies say driver was found passed out behind the wheel and later charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs.

(WNY News Now) – VILLENOVA, N.Y. — Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a wellbeing check on Friday, September 12, 2025, after receiving a report of a female driver passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle in the roadway on School Street in the Town of Villenova.

Deputies identified the driver as Julie A. Delcamp, 46, of Fredonia. Following an investigation, it was determined that Delcamp was allegedly operating the vehicle while her ability was impaired by drugs.

She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released with appearance tickets. Delcamp is scheduled to appear in Villenova Town Court at a later date to face charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
