(WNY News Now) – FORESTVILLE, N.Y. — A Forestville resident was taken into custody Sunday morning following an investigation into a reported criminal mischief complaint.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence in Forestville around 11:23 a.m. on October 5, 2025, after receiving reports of possible property damage. Upon further investigation, deputies determined that 66-year-old David Jaglowski had allegedly committed Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.

Jaglowski was also charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree. He was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, where he awaits the Centralized Arraignment Process in the Town of Hanover Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
