(WNY News Now) – Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Mayville resident Thursday night after responding to a report of an altercation.
MAYVILLE, N.Y. — On October 9, 2025, at approximately 10:42 p.m., deputies with the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the Village of Mayville for a reported altercation.
Upon arrival, deputies made contact with 40-year-old Brian J. Little of Mayville. Following an on-scene investigation, it was alleged that Little made unwanted physical contact with another individual at the residence.
Little was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for Centralized Arraignment Program (CAP) processing. He was later arraigned and released to return to the Town of Chautauqua Court at a future date to answer the charge of harassment in the second degree. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
