(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Dunkirk man was arrested Saturday morning following a reported domestic dispute on Jamestown’s southside, leading to several new charges and the discovery of multiple outstanding felony warrants.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the First Platoon responded to a southside residence at approximately 7:09 a.m. on October 11, 2025, for a domestic dispute in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female victim and determined that 26-year-old Angel G. Ramos-Gonzalez, of Dunkirk, had unlawfully entered the residence by unknown means.

Police said Ramos-Gonzalez was found to be in violation of an active order of protection that required him to stay away from the victim. Further investigation revealed that he also had multiple outstanding felony warrants stemming from prior incidents at the same address.

Ramos-Gonzalez was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. He is charged with two counts of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, and Harassment in the Second Degree.

In addition to the new charges, Ramos-Gonzalez also faces several outstanding felony warrants for Burglary in the First Degree, Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, and Assault in the Third Degree. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
