(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown man was arrested following a domestic dispute on the city’s north side after police say he violated a court order of protection.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the 2nd Platoon responded to a northside address around 7:48 p.m. on October 14, 2025, for a report of a disorderly person threatening residents at a multi-dwelling residence. Upon arrival, officers identified the suspect as 34-year-old Dylan S. Griffith, a resident of Jamestown.
While speaking with those involved, officers observed Griffith in the company of an individual who is the protected party named in a full stay-away order of protection against him. Police say Griffith was taken into custody without further incident.
Griffith was charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, as he has a prior conviction for Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
