(WNY News Now) – Deputies say a 37-year-old man is accused of taking tires from another person’s vehicle without permission.
CHERRY CREEK – The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported larceny on Main Street in Cherry Creek on Saturday afternoon, October 18, 2025.
Following an investigation, deputies determined that Johnathan Scinta, 37, of Cherry Creek, had allegedly removed tires from a victim’s vehicle without permission.
Scinta was charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Tampering in the Third Degree. He was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Cherry Creek Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
