(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown resident was taken into custody late Saturday night after police responded to a domestic incident on the city’s south side.
Jamestown Police say officers from the 3rd Platoon were dispatched to a Southside address at approximately 10:46 p.m. on November 15, 2025, for a reported domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers determined that Robert D. Ridgeway Jr., 44, had allegedly pushed a female who is the protected party under an active order of protection.
Ridgeway was arrested at the scene without incident. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
He is charged with Criminal Contempt in the 1st Degree and Harassment in the 2nd Degree. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
