(WNY News Now) – ARKWRIGHT, N.Y. – A Dunkirk man is facing multiple charges after a motor vehicle accident led to a DWI arrest Tuesday evening in the Town of Arkwright.

On November 18, 2025, at approximately 6:06 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash on Ball Road. Deputies identified the driver as Justin Pryll, 35, of Dunkirk.

According to investigators, Pryll was found to be operating his vehicle while intoxicated. Following field evaluations and further investigation, deputies determined his blood alcohol content to be .18% or higher, leading to an aggravated DWI charge. He was also charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Failure to Keep Right, and Speed Not Reasonable or Prudent.

Pryll was taken into custody and later released with appearance tickets. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Arkwright Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
