(WNY News Now) – WESTFIELD, N.Y. — A Westfield woman was arrested late Sunday night following a traffic stop that led to a DWI investigation, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies reported that on November 30, 2025, at approximately 11:36 p.m., a vehicle was stopped on East Main Street in the Village of Westfield after officers observed multiple traffic infractions. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Angel M. Travis of Westfield, was evaluated at the scene.
Following an investigation, deputies determined that Travis was allegedly operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), DWI Per Se, No/Inadequate Headlamp, Expired Registration, and Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle.
Travis was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for processing. She was later released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Westfield Court at a future date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
