(WNY News Now) – A 44-year-old Holland resident was arrested early Tuesday after the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office investigated an alleged violation of an order of protection in the Town of Yorkshire.
YORKSHIRE, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that Robert P. Wallens III, 44, of Holland, was arrested at approximately 3:57 a.m. on July 21, 2026, following an investigation into an alleged violation of an order of protection.
According to deputies, Wallens was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and second-degree aggravated harassment.
After his arrest, Wallens was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Delevan Substation for processing. He was later arraigned in the Town of Yorkshire Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he was being held.
The charges are allegations, and Wallens is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
