(WNY News Now) – Two individuals were charged with multiple offenses after a domestic-related incident in the Town of Portville, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

PORTVILLE, N.Y. — Deputies with the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Sabrina N. Thompson, 30, and Anthony M. Reed, 28, on Monday, July 27, following an investigation into a domestic-related incident in the Town of Portville.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, both Thompson and Reed were taken into custody at approximately 5:28 p.m. and transported to the Olean Substation for processing.

Authorities charged both individuals with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Following processing, Thompson and Reed were transported to Olean Town Court for arraignment. Both were released and are scheduled to appear in the Town of Portville Court at a later date.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office did not release additional details regarding the incident. The charges are allegations, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
