(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown woman was arrested early Friday after police said she violated a stay-away Order of Protection during a reported domestic dispute at UPMC Chautauqua.
Jamestown Police officers responded to UPMC Chautauqua at about 1:16 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, for a reported domestic dispute involving people in a vehicle.
According to police, officers contacted both parties and conducted an investigation. Police determined that Crystal A. Finstad, a Jamestown resident, was allegedly in violation of a valid stay-away Order of Protection involving the other person.
Finstad was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
She was charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree and was being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
The charge is an allegation, and Finstad is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
