(WNY News Now) – Town of Ellicott police say a 55-year-old man was charged with petit larceny after allegedly taking prescription medication during a domestic dispute.
Town of Ellicott police responded to a reported domestic dispute on Aug. 28, 2026, that allegedly involved the theft of prescription medication.
Police identified the suspect as Thomas M. Badgley, 55, who has no permanent address. According to police, Badgley allegedly took prescription medication belonging to the victim before leaving the scene.
Badgley later turned himself in at the Ellicott Police Department. He was charged with petit larceny and released with an appearance ticket.
Badgley is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
