(WNY News Now) – A 28-year-old Erie, Pennsylvania woman was arrested on DWI charges following a traffic stop on N. Maple Avenue in the Town of North Harmony.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop at about 8:56 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, on N. Maple Avenue in the Town of North Harmony.

The driver was identified as Shannon R. Sertz, 28, of Erie, Pennsylvania.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, an investigation determined that Sertz was allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Sertz was arrested and charged with DWI, DWI per se, and speeding in a posted zone.

She is scheduled to appear in North Harmony Town Court.

The charges are allegations, and Sertz is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
