(WNY News Now) – A 37-year-old Franklinville man was arrested Monday evening on a bench warrant issued through Olean City Court, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Aaron J. Chapman, 37, of Franklinville, was arrested on October 26, 2026, at approximately 5:27 p.m., according to a press release from Sheriff Eric A. Butler.

Deputies located Chapman at a Bakerstand Road address in Franklinville while executing the warrant. Following his arrest, Chapman was transported to the Olean Police Department and turned over to its custody. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
