Duo Charged With Meth Manufacturing

FRENCH CREEK – Two people were arrested Sunday evening while allegedly in possession of items consistent with methamphetamine production during a response to a criminal mischief complaint at 1518 Bush Rd., according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Christopher Bliss, 32, and Kristal Whitmore, 29, are both charged with third-degree unlawful manufacturing of methamphetamine, third-degree criminal mischief and being fugitives from justice. Both suspects reportedly had outstanding warrants in Pennsylvania.

Both suspects were then arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Program at the Chautauqua County Jail and subsequently committed to the Chautauqua County Jail pending further action of the court.











The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) then performed a further search and remediation of the crime scene. As a result of this search and evidence collection, additional charges and are pending against each of the subjects.
