Jamestown Mayoral Debate Slated For Next Week

JAMESTOWN – The three candidates running for City of Jamestown Mayor will debate next week during a forum at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts.

The 90-minute forum will feature City Councilman and mayoral Libertarian Candidate Andrew Liuzzo, Jamestown lawyer and Democrat Candidate Eddie Sundquist and County Legislator and Republican Candidate David Wilfong.

Moderated by WRFA’s Jason Sample, questions will come from participating media members, WJTN’s Terry Frank, WNY News Now’s Justin Gould and Sample.

There will also be an opportunity for each candidate to ask one question to each of their two respective opponents. Audience questions will only be taken if time allows.

Held Thursday in the Third Floor Multimedia Room, doors to the studio will open at 5:30 p.m. and the debate will promptly start at 6 p.m.

Those who wish to attend the debate in person are asked to RSVP ahead of time due to a limited number of seats being available in the Media Arts Studio.

A maximum of two seats will be permitted for each person making an RSVP.

RSVPs can be made by calling the Reg Lenna Box Office – 716.484.7070 – or emailing RSVP@RegLenna.com.

It will also be broadcast live on WNYNewsNow’s Facebook page and 24/7 streaming network as well as on WRFA, 107.9 FM. The program will also be rebroadcast in the future by WRFA and WJTN radio.

A post-debate reception will also take place from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., allowing audience members and the public an opportunity to meet with and talk to each candidate.
