HANOVER – A Town of Hanover man is facing several charges following an alleged rape that occurred last year.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says Dakota Fisher, 21, is charged with second-degree rape and two counts of second-degree criminal sexual act.

Deputies say the alleged incident occurred sometime in December 2018.

Fisher was arrested and taken to the Chautauqua County Jail Thursday morning for arraignment.

No details of the incident were released to the media.
