FREWSBURG – A local pharmacy will close its doors at the end of business Wednesday.

Officials with Frewsburg Pharmacy, at 26 W. Main St, in Frewsburg say all current customer’s prescriptions will automatically be transferred to Walgreens in Jamestown.

When asked why the location was closing, the clerk stated: “a number of reasons,” but would not specify. The pharmacy’s owner, Greg Nelson, was unavailable for comment.

Last year, the pharmacy celebrated 15 years in business.

Previously, the drugstore’s sister location in Westfield closed on November 7.

The pharmacy is open until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
