FREDONIA – The State University of New York at Fredonia has postponed its 2020 Commencement ceremonies due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Officials say the decision was made after consulting with students at the school.

Furthermore, officials say the postponement will not delay the delivery of degrees.

Earlier this month, New York State directed all public schools to move to distance learning classes amid the growing pandemic.
