Jamestown Man Faces Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

JAMESTOWN — A Jamestown man faces drug charges following a traffic stop on Lakeview Avenue Wednesday afternoon, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Police say Blake D. Smith, 45, is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana.

Officers allegedly located 5.7 grams of marijuana, eight doses (pills) of fentanyl, meth and MDMA, along with $6,159 in cash.











Polcie said Smith was held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.

The Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and NYSP K-9 assisted at the scene.
