MAYVILLE – A new COVID-19 related death has been reported in Chautauqua County, the 21st since the pandemic began.
In updating the county’s COVID-19 dashboard on Tuesday afternoon, leaders report the person was in their 50s.
Officials also reported 39 new cases of the virus.
The Health Department says there are 320 active cases with 18 people hospitalized.
Additionally, the seven-day average percent positivity rate is 5.6 percent.
There are 1,387 quarantined contacts and four quarantined travelers.
To date, there have been 2,075 COVID-19 cases recorded, with 1,734 recovering.
